What are your character’s 3 greatest fears?

Angel has many deep dark fears that stim all the way back to her high school years that propel her forward for te rest of her life.

  1. Her Mother, even though her mother died when she was in college the abuse she went through her whole life comes rushing back all the time and end up leading her to breaking down.
  2. Tobias Coates, it turns out he is a terrible villian and he took his hate out on her with  molestation and rape until the wrong person happened to hear it over a phone call.
  3. Halex is her biggest fear, she lost him once, and then a second time and hes starting to worry abouther safety if they do get married and disappears on her.

What are his/her 3 strongest paint points? (What is so painful physically, mentally or emotionally that they need to change it?)

  1. her being ignored and treated like she was invisible.
  2. Outgrowing her abuse in her life.
  3. finding she is good enough.

What are his/her top 3 deepest, darkest desires?

  1. Having Halex as hers for her whole life.
  2. Fitting in with people.
  3. just being brave shes always been very shy.

Musing Monday is a weekly meme but on by www.thepurplebooker.com .

And I now present to you her week’s random question:

“THIS WEEK’S RANDOM QUESTION:  What do you think about books being made into movies or TV Shows and do you always read the book first?”

I personally don’t mind movie and tv adaptations.  It’s the poetic licence taken I.e.) anne prices queen of the damned failure after the removal of Anne rice being part of the process.

I do like what hob, Showtime, and start does with their book seasons 10-12 episodes per book. Kept highly to the novels until an author has a thought stroke and trashes out her book series just to ‘ve done with it (coughtruebloodcough).  But starz is keeping abandon close with the outlandish series. Many seasons to go.  Even bbc/pbs is doing exemplary work with Poldark.

Movies are harder. Not all movie companies are willing to take three movies for a book. The hobbit, Lord of the rings   or Warner brothers and the world of Harry potter!  Then there are ok hole filled movies like eragon, I love it but barely keeps claw marks hit and miss through out the book.

I always try to read a book first but if I don’t manage I read it after to fill in holes.

Girls night Tuesdays we try to see movies.

On 1-1-17 look here for new content. Until then Happy New Year.

Musing Mondays us a weekly meme that asks you to chose one of the following prompts to answer:

I’m currently reading…

Up next I think I’ll read…

I bought the following book(s) in the past week…

I’m super excited to tell you about(book/author/bookishnews)…

I’m really upset by (book/author/bookishbews)…

I can’t wait to get a copy of…

I wish I could read ___, but…

I blogged about ___ this past week…

THIS WEEK’S RANDOM QUESTION: Does reading help you to release stress during stressful times? If it does do you have save favorite book that you return to for calm?

My answer to the random question.

Yes reading is one of my constant  calming and destressing habits and skills…. I learned to read at 4 and the better I got the bigger my books got.

Lord of the Rings is my all time favorite novel (the all in one).  I read it in January and through out the year to save my thought process.

Also thank you Ambrosia for picking up my two favorite memes for the week.

Teaser Tuesday is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along with Teaser Tuesday! Just do the following:

• Grab your current read
• Open to a random page
• Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
• BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
• Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers! Everyone loves Teaser Tuesday.
